On the other side of the door we find a monster: a shadow that follows us, plays with our fears, impedes transformation. We must face it and make a decision: do we go our own way or do we submit? Either way, we must leave our comfort zone and accept uncertainty.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Diego Sinniger<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019s<\/span> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">LIOV<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is a reflection on the struggle within us when we need to let go of what oppresses us and keep moving forward in life with integrity and freedom. It shows how our internal conflicts are also focused on our relationships and exposes the thin line that can exist between love and violence, between victim and aggressor, between desire and abuse.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">LIOV<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, two characters\u2014who can also be interpreted as a single individual\u2014face each other on stage. One decides to rebel against his wounds and fears. He must break free of his mask, which weighs him down intolerably. To do so he needs to hit bottom. His style, as choreographer and dancer, developed from a technique which he calls \u2018muscular consciousness\u2019 and is influenced by various practices, such as contemporary dance, hip hop, circus, and martial arts. He began by training in urban dance, mainly in Spain and New York, and has worked in national and international projects, such as Brodas Bros, Uniq, Dblock, and Base de Bases, among others. He also trained in contemporary dance in Spain, France, Brussels, and Germany, attending seminars by choreographers Wim Vandekeybus, Elena Fokina, Peter Jasko, Anton Laschky, Jordi Cort\u00e9s, Laura Aris, and Francisco Cordoba, and festivals, such as Varium (Barcelona), Cobosmika Seeds (Palamos), Festival Deltebre Dansa, etc. As a performer and choreographer he has collaborated in <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DIsCOnneCt<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">LIOV<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">paH<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. During the last five years he worked with various companies, such as Lali Ayguad\u00e9 Company (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">U an Mi<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kokoro<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">saBa<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), Roser Lopez Espinosa (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Noviembre<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), Ziomara Hormaetxe (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Biopiracy<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), and Cia. Cobosmika (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O.t.a.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> scRakeja\u2019t<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), among others. He is currently interested in theater and different methods of interpretation, such as the Stanislavsky and Lecoq methods.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Kiko L\u00f3pez<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> trained in urban, contemporary, and African dance in schools and festivals in London, New York, Los Angeles, and Spain (Debbie Reynolds, Alvin Ailey, Edge, Millenium Dance Complex, Company &amp; Company, Festival Deltebre Dansa, among others). He is the director and choreographer for the Npuva company, which fuses afro, contemporary, and hip hop dance. He also teaches workshops worldwide and is a regular teacher at the Dancescape (L\u00e9rida) and Company &amp; Company (Barcelona) dance schools. He is currently working with Franciso Cordoba, director and choreographer of the Physica Momentum Project, performing in <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Postkriptum<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. He has performed in <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">scRakeja\u2019t<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Cia. Cobosmika), <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019ADN de l\u2019\u00e0nima<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Color Dansa\/Lenacay), <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Humans<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (C\u00eda. estilo), and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tecknized<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (C\u00eda. supremos Crew), <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Romeo+Julieta <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Intersection and Home tv<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (D\u2019Block). He has also collaborated with the Jove Ballet de Catalunya and Tempodans Company (Cuba).
